This quiet beach is about 40 meters long. It's a perfect place for children, not only due to its fine sand and calm and shallow waters but also because it is easily accessible. It offers all necessary services and it has a recreational area under the palms with a sand boat shaped playground. A great spot to spend your day!
Cala en Blanes is located 4km from Ciutadella, between Punta de Cala en Blanes and Na Marí, in an urbanization called Los Delfines. This is one of the major tourist areas of Ciutadella, where you will find several hotels and apartments, mostly occupied by British and German tourists. This resort provides restaurants, bars, supermarkets, shops, swimming pools, tennis courts, recreation centers, aqua parks, piers, megaliths and motor vehicles to hire, all concentrated in the Carrer dels Dolfins. One could hardly ask for more. But if you want something more authentic, you'll have to leave to the center of Ciutadella.
The bay is faces south and is protected from waves and winds. This makes the beach and most of the nearby beaches, perfect for families with children. The beach offers plenty of facilities, including restrooms, showers, bars, sunbeds and umbrellas, lifeguards, water sports rental, a recreational area in the shade, etc.
A few meters from the beach, the resort of Cala'n Blanes offers a variety of tourist services. The large number of tourists staying in the core, as well as its proximity to Ciutadella, makes Cala en Blanes one of the most crowded spots during the summer months.
